Who we are

NorthSea Crew Transfer provides crew and personnel transportation throughout the Netherlands. We work for offshore operators, vessel owners, offshore wind contractors, shipping companies, ship agents, crewing agencies and industrial clients who need people moved between airports, ports, offshore bases, heliports, hotels and company sites, reliably and at any hour.

The brand exists because offshore transportation is a distinct discipline. It runs on vessel schedules rather than office hours, it involves far more luggage than ordinary passenger work, and it changes constantly. Serving it properly needs a dedicated operations approach, not a taxi booking line with an offshore page bolted on.

NorthSea Crew Transfer is operated by Taxi Direct Haarlem, an established Dutch passenger transportation company with its own professional network of vehicles and drivers. That is where the operational backbone comes from: licensed vehicles, vetted professional drivers, dispatch capability and years of experience moving passengers across the Randstad and the wider Netherlands.

In practice it means NorthSea Crew Transfer is not a broker passing your work to whichever operator answers the phone. Journeys are dispatched within a known driver network, to known standards, with one company accountable for the result.

Where we operate

We operate nationwide. Our busiest corridors connect Amsterdam Schiphol with IJmuiden, Den Helder, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Eemshaven, and we regularly serve Vlissingen, Terneuzen, Moerdijk, Harlingen and Delfzijl, plus training centres, medical providers, company offices and crew hotels throughout the country.

Vehicles and drivers

• Executive saloons and estates for individual crew and managers
• MPVs and eight-seat minivans for small teams with offshore luggage
• 16 to 20 seat minibuses with dedicated luggage space for crew changes
• Coaches for mobilisations, shift transport and large project movements
• Additional luggage vehicles where bags exceed the passenger vehicle's capacity
• Professional, licensed, English-speaking drivers experienced with offshore crews

How we work

Bookings are confirmed in writing, normally within 30 minutes. Flights are monitored where a flight number is supplied. Port access requirements are checked before the vehicle leaves. Changes are accepted by phone at any hour. Corporate clients are invoiced monthly with their own project references on every line.

None of that is unusual in offshore logistics; it is simply what the sector requires and what generic passenger transport rarely delivers.
