What offshore crew transportation involves
Offshore crew transportation is the road leg of a crew movement: the part between the airport, the hotel, the company office and the quay where the crew actually boards. It sounds simple until a flight lands two hours late, the vessel brings the sailing forward, or twelve people arrive with twelve offshore bags plus tool cases and PPE.
We plan every offshore job with that reality in mind. Arrival times are taken from live flight data, not from the booking. Vehicles are selected on luggage volume as well as headcount. Drivers are briefed on the terminal, the gate and the contact person at the quay, so crew are not left standing at a port entrance without access.

Vehicles for offshore crews
Offshore work is luggage-heavy. A single technician frequently travels with a suitcase, an offshore bag and a laptop case, and survey teams add flight cases on top of that. We match the vehicle to the load: executive saloons for one or two passengers travelling light, estate cars and MPVs for three or four, eight-seat minivans for small teams, and minibuses or coaches for full crew changes.
Where luggage exceeds passenger capacity we add a dedicated luggage vehicle rather than leaving bags behind. It is cheaper than a second journey and it keeps the crew on schedule.
Working with your planners
Most offshore clients book through a marine or logistics coordinator who is juggling flights, hotels, certificates and vessel movements at the same time. Our operations desk works to that rhythm: one contact, confirmations in writing, changes accepted by phone at any hour, and a driver contact number shared before pickup.
Journeys are invoiced monthly under a corporate account, with the vessel name, project code or cost centre shown per transfer so the cost can be allocated without chasing receipts.

Wherever port regulations allow, yes. Many Dutch terminals permit vehicle access to the quay with prior notification; where they do not, we drop off at the designated crew gate or terminal building and coordinate with the agent on site.
Can you transport PPE, tools and flight cases?
Yes. Tell us the luggage volume when booking and we allocate a larger vehicle or an additional luggage vehicle. We do not transport hazardous goods.
